Did you know that this total solar eclipse on Monday April 8th will be the first to enter Canada since 1979. The eclipse will enter North America around Sinaloa, Mexico and exit through area around Warricks Island, Canada. It will extend out across Hawaii, Alaska, and the US Virgin Islands. For Brevard County the eclipse will begin at 1:48 PM, reach the maximum but not total eclipse at 3:04 PM and end at 4:17 PM. This eclipse will be visible in Central America, South America, and parts of Europe. This will be the last solar eclipse to be visible in the contiguous United States until August 23, 2044.
