The City of Melbourne is hosting at Celebration at the Joseph N Davis Community Center from 1 PM to 5 PM. The event will include activities and entertaining celebrating Dr. King. 2547 Bruce D Buggs Street, Melbourne.
Florida Institute of Technology is hosting a Commemoration on Tuesday January 21st at 7 PM. The event hosted by the Office of Alumni Affairs and the Black Student Union will celebrate Dr. King’s life and achievements as well as recognize two outstanding members of the community. The event will be held at the Gleason Performing Art Center. 150 W. University Blvd, Melbourne.
The City of Cocoa will host a Peace March and Service honoring Dr. King and the gains secured by the Civil Rights Movement. The event will begin at Provost Park at 400 S Varr Ave and proceed North to SR 520 to Riversedge Blvd ending at Riverfront Park at 401 Riversedge Blvd The event will run from 2 PM to 5 PM.
